Murder Mystery Evenings Leicester, UK

We are a group based in Leicestershire who are happy to provide the murder mystery element to an event in Leicestershire or surrounding area (Rutland/South Notts/South Derbyshire/North Northants/North Warwickshire). You provide the venue, the food, and the detectives.

How it works – for large groups
(36 to 80 guests - but have done for less/more)
We agree a scenario such as ‘Father of the Bride’ at a wedding reception, or ‘Captain’s Guest’ on board a cruise ship. We provide the plot, suspects (usually 4 or 5) and a full evening’s entertainment, typically starting at 7.30pm would finish 10.30-11.00pm. We have run evenings for many Village Hall groups, at a conference for 120 police officers, charity evenings for RSPCA and LOROS, and various celebration parties. Scenarios can be written specifically for a group, for example ‘Charlie’s Florists’ for a village group raising money for their stand at a flower show.

How it works – for small groups
(15 to 30 guests)
I normally run these evenings on my own with guests at the event taking on the role/challenge of being suspects. Some information is given ahead of the event, but more is provided as the event goes on. There is still a murder early on and by the end of the event the guilty are discovered. I have run these events for birthday parties, get-togethers and even once a hen night.

Fees
Murder Mayhem is run partly for fun and also to provide a unique experience for drama students who normally play the suspects. We do not take our events too seriously and believe this adds to the experience we provide. Our fees are kept to a minimum, from £125 for a small group event to £200 for the large group events.
